Dinner was amazing! I have celiac, so finding gluten free Italian options can be so difficult. Brenda was fantastic, and asked right away if there were any allergies. She took the time to walk me through the menu, and showed me the items that I could not have. The GF manicotti with bolognese was amazing, and the shrimp panzarella on GF bread… sooooo good! The portions are big so be prepared to have leftovers!

Took a drive out to Boston’s North End for dinner at La Famiglia Giorgio's, not realizing they also own durum—two gems, one delicious discovery. We kicked things off with fresh bread & an olive dip, plus mozzarella moons with a cheese pull that could win awards. He went all in with the La Familia special—veal & chicken in a rich pesto alfredo over those giant fusilli that hold onto every drop of sauce. I had the cavatelli in a pink vodka sauce with perfectly seasoned meatballs. Our waitress Maria was fantastic—attentive, friendly, & made the whole experience even better.

This place had some delicious food! Large portions, great service and authentic cuisine. We came here for a double date and had a great time! We loved it. We were first served free bread & oil. We ordered the calamari (which was divine) as an appetizer. My husband got the chicken Alfredo and I got the tortellini pesto. You can request homemade pasta for an up charge of $3 and we did. It was absolutely amazing. The ambiance was very snug, it felt like we were right on top of other people but that’s what you get in Boston. Everything else was great. Will definitely be back.

La Famiglia in Boston absolutely lived up to the hype. From the atmosphere to the food, this place was such a cool experience.
We started with the lobster ravioli appetizer and honestly could have stopped there because it was THAT good. But the real star was the Saltimbocca — chicken, mushrooms, pasta, and this rich flavor that was completely out of this world. One plate was easily enough for two people because the portions are huge.
Our waitress Andrea was fantastic and made the whole experience even better.
If you love authentic Italian food, giant portions, and places with character and atmosphere… this one is worth the wait and worth the visit.

Portions are LARGE. This is stated on the website, but needed to be emphasized. The GF pasta was the best we’ve ever had. The fettuccini pasta itself was nothing special. Chicken piccata was phenomenal.

This has to be the best gluten free pasta ever. I am not gluten free and came here with some gluten free friends. We planned on splitting dishes, and I was a little nervous because gluten free pasta often has a grainy or unfamiliar texture. Y’all this pasta was SO GOOD, if it weren’t for the little allergen flag they put in the center of the dishes I would have thought that they made a mistake and served us normal pasta. They even had a gluten free chocolate lava cake that was absolutely delicious (not as good as the pasta, though).
The atmosphere was also very cute, casual, and rustic — lots of wood and brick. The service initially felt a little cold and disorganized, but once we got our assigned server to our table she was very sweet and accommodating, especially given the range of allergies at our table. I would definitely love to come back here and try their gluten pasta at some point!

La Famiglia Giorgio's Restaurant was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Boston. This place is absolutely wonderful, not only because the food is incredible, but also because they offer excellent gluten-free options and take every accommodation seriously. As someone who is gluten-free, I felt completely safe and cared for the entire night. They’ve won several awards, and honestly, they deserve every single one. From the appetizers to the main dishes and the wine selection, everything was divine. My husband and I were genuinely surprised by how exceptional the entire experience was. The flavors, the portions, the atmosphere, everything was a 10/10.
We left already talking about how much we want to come back. If you’re visiting Boston, this restaurant is an absolute must!

I highly recommend checking out La Famiglia Giorgio’s! We started with their bread and oil topped with red pepper flakes and cheese; so simple but absolutely delicious. I ordered the Chicken Marianna, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The portion was huge, so I definitely left with a full box of leftovers. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were spot on. The service really stood out. When I asked for a to-go box, our waitress actually took our plates, boxed everything up for us, and had it ready in a bag; such a nice touch. There was also a woman walking around (possibly the owner or manager) checking in on tables, and you could tell she genuinely cared about everyone’s experience. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and the fresh flowers outside added such a nice detail; you could even smell them as you walked up.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I would absolutely go back!
